Goals and Purposes

Desert Gardens was established in 1997 to serve the body of Christ by providing healing prayer, biblical counsel and and training for those whom God has called to do the same. Desert Gardens provides classes, seminars, and video schools to provide equipping for ministry. Teachings and seminars have a two-fold purpose: ministry development and personal growth. They are designed to train and equip those involved in relational ministries with biblical principles and skills to minister healing prayer and counsel to others with a variety of needs.

Personal Growth and Ministry Development classes are designed to provide a broader base of knowledge, skills, and understanding to the basic foundation of healing prayer and biblical counsel. These classes are enriching and have been a great learning experience for all who have come.

Internship Program
The Internship Program is self-paced and designed to provide practical experience for those pursuing the ministry of healing prayer and biblical counsel. The program includes: personal prayer ministry, observation, personal growth and ministry development classes, and some written course work. Ministry Consultation
Bridget Shank, founder and director, is able to provide consultation and direction for establishing and facilitating a prayer ministry or ministry teams. She also provides peer review for complex and difficult healing situations. Personal consultation may be arranged by appointment.
